New House of Cards trailer asserts Netflix’s penchant for drama
There is but one rule: Hunt or be hunted. Netflix’s Emmy winning original series House of Cards is set to return to an internet stream near you soon. Less than 24 hours ago the online video streaming service released its first full trailer for the second season of its political drama.
Come 14 February, every episode of the show will be available to subscribers to binge on and it looks good.
The show’s protagonist and main antagonist (yes that’s how cool this show is, the hero is also the villain) Frank Underwood has finally realised the goal of season one — ascend to the office of the Vice President. This rapid climb to power seems to spell big changes for both him and his calculating wife, Claire. With great power comes even greater enemies ready to blow his whole plan wide open. The stakes are higher and every body has everything to lose.
Watch this trailer and start the countdown, Valentine’s Day has never been this appealing.
