Samsung sticks with trend of mocking absolutely everyone in new ad
The US ad for the Samsung Galaxy Pro tablet might just be its most smug effort to date. The ad, which sticks people in a variety of scenarios using tablets, makes special note of the Galaxy Pro’s multi-tasking capabilities and screen resolution while aiming digs at its competitors at every possible opportunity.
The Surface, for instance, takes flak for the fact that it has a keyboard and mouse…and docking station while the Kindle is apparently only good for books. Most of the vitriol though is aimed at the iPad, which can’t multi-task, has an inferior screen and can’t run multiple apps on the same screen.
While Samsung may have included a few select truths in an ad, we can’t help but feel that the idea of a room full of friends, all concentrating on their tablets is starting to get just a little bit old-fashioned.
