While searching for a hashtag and watching the tweets roll past in real time is cool and all, watching the events live as they unfold is just so much more compelling.

The trial set to determine whether or not Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius murdered his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp starts today. State prosecutors will go head-to-head with Pistorius and his legal representatives in what is being called the South African version of the famous OJ Simpson case that took place two decades ago in the US.
