Nervous flyer? British Airways’ new kitten and puppy channel could help

The entertainment options on British Airways flights just got a whole lot cuter. Taking a leaf out of the internet’s book, the airliner is set to include a channel running continuous footage of cats and dogs on its Slow TV offering.

The channel, called “Paws and Relax” came about after British Airways found research showing that watching footage of cute animals helped slow people’s heart rates down and allowed them to properly relax.

Among the shows offered on the channel are animated offering Simon’s Cat, America’s Cutest Dog, and The Secret Life of Cats.

Earlier this year, the airline included a seven hour train ride through Norway on its slow TV offering. And while that might be great for anyone battling to get to sleep, we reckon Paws and Relax could just about do the trick for nervous flyers.
