15 of the most WTF online videos to come out of South Africa

The footage of a TransAsia plane clipping a bridge and crashing into a river has to be one of the most WTF moments of 2015. The video has been extensively shared on social media, and it continues to remain a trending topic. This has got us thinking about videos from South Africa, and which ones have made us go “Woah!!! Wtf?”

The two most popular amateur video hosting sites frequently used by South Africans are YouTube and LiveLeak. If you type “South Africa” in their search bars, you will find hundreds of videos, many of which are of hijackings, car crashes, petrol station robberies and shootings.

These videos are pretty crazy, and if you watch a lot them, you may be left emotionally scarred because they are extremely graphic. However if you ignore the violence, you will find some videos that give you a slice of the weird things that happen in South Africa.
