You may have been wondering what Karl Ahari, the second rate magician who starred in what turned out to be ecommerce giant Kalahari’s final campaign, has been up to recently. Things have, after all, been pretty quiet on that front. That’s a little odd, given the flurry of activity around the merger between Kalahari and Takealot.
But if a new ad is anything to by, the merger may well have gone beyond just the corporate structures of the company.
After what seems like more than a few lonely nights on the couch, the Kalahari mascot appears to have found love in the arms of the Takealot blue ball (or at least an anthropomorphic personification thereof). Try not to think about it too hard. Love comes in all shapes and forms.
