WhatsApp down worldwide
Facebook-owned messaging service WhatsApp experienced a brief outage Friday morning.
Users, voicing concerns on Facebook and Twitter, were reportedly unable to send or receive messages.
According to DownDetector, central Europe, Indonesia, the west coast of India and China were most vocal regarding the outage, which also affected South Africa.

It’s not known what caused the outage.
The latest issue also comes after May 2017’s global WhatsApp blackout, which struck in the early hours of the morning.
The service is reportedly returning to normal for some.
