Elon Musk laughs at a dead deer and becomes a new reaction meme

This weekend Elon Musk along with Rick And Morty co-creator Justin Roiland hosted an episode of PewDiePie’s Meme Review.

Sounds fun, but did we ever underestimate just how funny it would be.

The entire episode is a hoot, with PewDiePie paying respects to Opportunity Rover.

Then Musk takes a moment to laugh at himself laughing at himself. Weird. We can recall seeing him laugh. Ever.

But when the iconic “why my dolphin not working” meme — a picture that portrays a real dead deer at the bottom of a pool — appeared on their monitor, Musk completely lost it.

Here’s the excerpt.

Note, this manic cackle neatly coincides with Roiland’s take on how dark society and memes have grown. Musk, nonetheless, laughs even harder just like me while watching this video.

Needless to say, that this reaction moment has become its own meme of sorts.

Twitter wasted no time ironically dragging PETA into this.

Other tweets took the form of the Pikachu reaction, in the figurative and literal sense.

While it’s just three days old, we sure are look forward to seeing this meme die thanks to copious usage.
