Update: Babes Wodumo has reportedly opened a case against Mampintsha

According to a report by News24, Babes Wodumo has opened a case of assault against her boyfriend Mampintsha.

This comes after a video posted on Instagram went viral, showing
Mampintsha slapping the singer several times.

Yesterday afternoon, a family member informed concerned fans via twitter, that a public statement would be made by the end of the day.

No statement was made, however, another family spokesperson confirmed to News24 that a case had been opened.

On Twitter, calls for Mampintsha’s arrest continue to trend under the hashtag #LockUpMampintsha.

According to multiple reports, a media briefing is expected at 10am.
