Google is testing ‘visual ads’ in Google Images

Google is putting shoppable ads in Google Images. This means that you will soon see images of items you can click on and buy, when you’re browsing through Google’s image search.
“We’ve seen that 50% of online shoppers said images of the product inspired them to purchase, and increasingly, they’re turning to Google Images,” Google explained.
According to Google, a shopper “can scroll through the images, hover over any sponsored ad with the price tag, and see the items for sale in the image — along with prices, the brand, and more”.
The feature is currently being tested among businesses and users at the moment, but it will eventually expand.
