After implementing new policies surrounding manipulated media on its platform earlier this month, Twitter is now reportedly testing labels for misinformation from public figures…
Johnny Depp has been on the receiving end of the infamous online cold shoulder since ex-wife Amber Heard accused him of physical abuse.
However, new evidence obtained by tabloid The Blast suggests that Depp may have been on the receiving end of the abuse too.
Documents reportedly obtained by the publication detail accounts of glass-bottle tossing and finger-severing.
Depp is also suing Heard for $50-million in a defamation case filed earlier this month, which calls her accusations an “elaborate hoax”.
With this and supposed evidence that suggests Depp was the abused and not the abuser, fans all over Twitter are coming out of the woodwork to support the actor once more.
The tweets, which are some two hundred thousand and counting, are rather overwhelmingly in favour of Depp.
Even those who “cancelled” the star are addressing the matter.
Others are claiming they knew he was innocent all along.
And JK Rowling was thrown into the mix after she was heavily criticized for casting the actor in Fantastic Beasts back in 2017.
