Ahead of Endgame, Google adds Avengers-themed Playmojis to Pixel smartphones
In honour of the fast approaching Avengers: Endgame movie, Google has released a small collection of new Playmoji AR characters modelled on members of the superhero cast.
Captain Marvel, Thor, Black Widow, Rocket and War Machine will be available on Pixel cameras, allowing users to add the augmented reality animations to photos, videos and selfies.
“The heroes join Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Nebula and Okoye in Playground, so now you can make even more epic scenes come to life,” Google said on its blog.
Avengers: Endgame will be released on 26 April 2019, while additional rumours suggest that Google could be releasing a new gaggle of low-cost Pixel smartphones a few weeks later in May.
