Google on Tuesday announced that Chrome 74 for desktop is now available on Windows 10, Mac and Linux.
The update features several security fixes, along with the long-awaited dark mode for desktop.
Unfortunately however, not all Chrome 74 users will be able to access dark mode for some time.
“I can confirm that we are rolling out this feature to a small number of Chrome M74 users now, and that it will become more widely available in the near future,” a Chrome Community Manager revealed.
This came after several users complained that they could not activate dark mode after updating.
According to the company, the Chrome 74 update will reach all users over the next few weeks.
