Facebook Messenger’s dark mode is now available globally

Facebook has officially launched the dark mode feature for Messenger worldwide. Users across the globe can now activate the mode to experience the app in all black.
The feature was previously hidden, and Messenger users had to unlock it by sending a contact the crescent moon emoji.
“Messenger’s dark mode provides lower brightness while maintaining contrast and vibrancy,” Facebook explained on its blog.
The dark mode feature can be activated in the settings menu on Messenger.
