Being a huge fan, I could not wait out an entire work day to see what the first episode would bring, and so I had to indulge.
If you ever thought the show’s title sequence was long and boring, think again.
Within 10 minutes, the show was reminiscent of the first time we all saw Winterfell back in the pilot episode.
But of course, things did get serious.
As well as a tad bit… tense.
There were some cute moments though.
To be honest, it was a bit of slow start to a finale.
However, episode one was not without its humour.
In fact, there were some proper giggle-worthy moments.
Okay, maybe too many.
It was a bit of a joy ride really (I may mean that literally).
Yet, it can’t be Game of Thrones without at least one tear.
Or an “omg”.
Or, a fully-fledged heart attack.
Of course, it all ended on the cliffhanger we were waiting for (convoluted pun very much intended).
We’ll found out what the tension, revelations and discoveries mean when episode two airs next week.
