Robert Pattinson of ‘Twilight’ fame could be the next Batman

A report by Variety on Thursday evening revealed that Robert Pattinson is in the running to play Batman in the upcoming Matt Reeves version of the superhero movie.

Of course, Pattinson is most known for his role as the sparkly vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga.

Though the publication couldn’t confirm whether or not Pattinson was definitely set for the role, the news found its way to Twitter, where “Batman” trended on Friday morning.

Surprisingly, many people were for it.
