Uber Eats just added a tenth city to its South African operations. As of Thursday this week, Uber Eats is available in Soweto.

The township located southwest of Johannesburg’s CBD is home to more than 1.2-million people as well as a budding cuisine scene.

While the service generally operates in global and South African cities using cars and motorbikes, it’s introducing a new people-powered form of delivery: bicycle.

“In another first for Soweto, Uber Eats will offer local residents the chance to deliver food using a bicycle, with the peace of mind safety is a top priority thanks to offering Injury Protection,” the company wrote in a press release.

Users can order food from the service between 10am and 10pm daily using the app.

In addition to Soweto, the service also operates in Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Paarl, Pietermaritzburg, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, and Stellenbosch.
