Uber and IEC offering R25 off two rides on Election Day
Uber, along with the Independent Electorial Commission (IEC) and Nelson Mandela Foundation, will offer voters R25 off rides to and from polling stations, the ride-hailing serviced announced on Monday.
Valid between 7am and 9pm on Wednesday, riders can use the code VOTESA19 to get R25 off two rides on that day.
While the company’s marketing it towards voters (even though you really ought to vote), those simply wishing to use the service can also grab the discount using the code. It’s available to new and established Uber users, too.
The promo is available in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Ekurhuleni, Cape Town, Durban and PE.
