Stranger Things 3 was watched by 40m accounts in its first four days
Stranger Things 3, which hit Netflix just under a week ago, has already racked up over 40 million views according to the streaming service.
“40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch — more than any other film or series in its first four days,” Netflix revealed in a tweet on Tuesday morning.

Though Netflix doesn’t usually release viewing stats, it tends to show off its greatest hits from time to time.
Last year, the company similarly tweeted about Bird Box when over 45 million accounts watched the movie in its first week.
