WhatsApp now supports Apple’s Memojis after iOS beta update
WhatsApp has added support for Memoji stickers on iOS in its latest beta update, a report on WABetaInfo has revealed.
The feature will allow iOS users to send Memojis, which are customisable AR avatars that can be created on iPhones or iPads, as stickers over WhatsApp.
The beta update adds the ‘from Facebook’ rebranding to WhatsApp on iOS as well, a change that was also included in WhatsApp’s latest beta update for Android.
Last month, WhatsApp also began testing a fingerprint unlock feature for Android 6.0 and up. But that’s not the only feature coming to the chat app.
“I have reasons to believe that WhatsApp might be interested to allow theme customization OR multiple themes,” WABetaInfo further tweeted on Tuesday.

This suggests that we may soon be able to customise the aesthetics on the messaging service.
