‘JoJo Rabbit’ is a World War II satire starring ‘idiotic’ imaginary Hitler
Fox Searchlight on Tuesday dropped the official trailer for upcoming World War II satire JoJo Rabbit.
The movie “follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic,” reads the trailer description.
Starring Scarlett Johansson and Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi, the movie also features an imaginary “idiotic” Adolf Hitler.
In addition to directing JoJo Rabbit, Waititi also plays the role of Hitler.
JoJo Rabbit will hit cinemas on 18 October 2019.
