50% of all Apple devices are now running iOS 13
Apple this week revealed that 50% of all its users are now running iOS 13 on their devices, just under a month after the operating system’s release.
Though the update is being adopted by users at a slightly slower rate than last year’s iOS 12, the numbers suggest that at least half of all Apple users are welcoming iOS 13.
Of course, with popular features like system-wide dark mode and Spotify support for Siri, it’s not difficult to see why Apple users have been quick to take on the new system.
Apple also revealed that 55% of all users have adopted iOS 13 on iPhones released in the past four years.
At least 7% of these newer devices, meanwhile, use older versions of Apple’s operating systems while 38% run iOS 12.
As for the company’s new iPadOS, just 33% of all iPad users have upgraded to the system.
This means that more than half of the world’s iPad users are still running iOS 12 on their tablets.
Despite this, it’s clear that Apple’s latest operating systems (particularly iOS 13 and its many features) are doing well among users.
