Instagram adds a new camera ‘Create’ tool with GIF support

Instagram on Tuesday revealed a redesigned version of its in-app camera, which includes the platform’s new Create tool for Instagram Stories.
Making the announcement via Twitter, the company revealed that the new update is “packed with fun new tools like the GIFs format”.
Available through Instagram’s latest update, the new camera still allows users to either shoot directly or choose images from their camera roll.
Now, however, users can find all the camera’s tools and filters at the bottom of the screen. Previously, some features like text and stickers were found at the the top right.
The update comes after Instagram earlier this week began removing the following activity tab on the platform.
