Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ shows off its acting talent in season 3 trailer
The official trailer for the third season of Netflix’s The Crown was released on Monday, finally giving us a first look at the show’s new royal cast in action.
Following the first two seasons, which depicted Queen Elizabeth II’s rise to the throne in her earlier days, the new trailer takes us on a journey as the times begin to change.
This includes more seasoned actors and even more controversy.
“As Queen Elizabeth II faces a rapidly changing Britain, her family continues to struggle against the needs of the monarchy and the wants of their fracturing personal lives,” Netflix describes on YouTube.
The show will star Olivia Colman (The Favourite) as the monarch, Helena Bonham Carter (The Wings of the Dove) as Princess Margaret, Tobias Menzies (HBO’s Rome) as Prince Philip and Josh O’Connor (God’s Own Country) as Prince Charles.
Netflix will release The Crown on 17 November 2019.
