WhatsApp’s getting an ‘advanced search’ feature

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently working on a new advanced search feature.

The feature will give users the ability to make more refined searches in their chats.

This means that you will be able to search through your chats more acutely to find pictures, GIFs, audio files, documents and more. Currently users can only search for text within messages.

The feature is still being developed, but will be available for both iOS and Android.
