Microsoft Word has passed 1bn downloads on Google Play
Microsoft Word passed the one billion downloads mark on Google Play, Android Police revealed on Friday.
Though the figure suggests that Word’s popularity is still going strong, the publication noted that pre-installed versions of the app on some smartphones could contribute to the large number.
Word, which is free to download on the Play Store, is the first Microsoft app to reach the milestone.
