Load shedding: Find the schedule for your city or municipality in South Africa
Finding your load shedding schedule for your specific city, town or municipality can be a torrid task online, and searching for them wastes valuable time.
But, fear not. This brief article lists the schedules for South Africa’s largest cities, and most populous municipalities, working up from the south of the country to the extreme north.
Note #1: if you can’t find your town under our provincial lists, scroll to the very bottom of this article for Eskom’s extensive list of schedules for smaller towns across the country.

Western Cape load shedding schedules
The City of Cape Town often implements a lower stage of load shedding for those supplied by the municipality rather than Eskom. Make sure to double-check which stage you are on when checking the schedule.
