FNB shifts 100k smart devices adds Galaxy Note 10.1 to lineup
A little under a year ago, South African banking giant First National Bank (FNB) began selling tablets, smartphones and laptops to its customers at discount prices. In that time, the banking giant has shifted over 100 000 individual devices.
According to FNB there are now over 20 different devices to choose from, “available at reduced rates, with no additional fees, interest or charges and with 24 months to pay”.
As it celebrated the milestone, FNB added the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.2 to the range of BlackBerry, Samsung, Acer and Apple products available.
According to Kartik Mistry, head of smart device products at Core banking solutions : “FNB now stocks the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 which sports an S Pen — a real pen like feeling for a natural writing experience. Shape Match which helps you to visualise your ideas better, by turning squiggly shapes into neat organised figures. It also includes handwriting recognition, voice support and 32GB onboard memory which is expandable. The Note also allows for multi-tasking on a Multiscreen, which makes it easier to work on two applications simultaneously.”
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is available from R295 per month to new and existing FNB Cheque Account clients.
