Star Wars-themed Xbox 360 console warps in April 3
The resilient, seven-year old Xbox 360 travels to a galaxy far, far away with the imminent release of the Star Wars Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle.
Major Nelson, Microsoft’s director of programming for Xbox Live revealed on Twitter that the Star Wars-themed console will be unleashed on April 3, at a price of US$449.99.
Confirmed: The Kinect Star Wars Bundle will be available on April 3, 2012 mjr.mn/SWXbox360 — Larry Hryb (@majornelson) February 7, 2012
The Star Wars Xbox is eye-wateringly vulgar in the nicest possible way. The console, a 320GB Xbox Slim is dressed up like R2-D2 and the controller is resplendent in C3PO’s golden sheen. A white Kinect is paired with the set. Rounding off the bundle is Kinect Adventures and Star Wars Kinect, the upcoming motion-sensor title aimed squarely at pre-teens.
Pre-order it now on Amazon and look forward to making the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
