Rumour-mill: Samsung Galaxy S III launch set for 30 March?
Is there a mystery UK launch planned for the Galaxy S III? According to some candid snaps of an Oxford-based retail store, something is “coming soon” from Samsung.
The store: Phones 4U. A retail outlet which was the first store to sell the Galaxy Nexus when it initially launched and in our opinion, it would be a waste of time and money to promote a random Samsung phone such as the Pocket or a new Tab.
Come 30 March, Oxford may be first location lucky enough to get its hipster claws on the Galaxy S III.
This tease may be incongruent with other reports that say the Galaxy S III will only launch later this year, for May at the very latest. President of Samsung’s mobile communications division, J.K. Shin has also apparently confirmed the release of the S III for “sometime in 2012”. A release date is brewing, we feel it in our bones. Remain calm and stay tuned for the launch of a phone which “has the data processing capacities of a regular PC”.
