From the ashes of Nokia’s budget phone division comes the Nokia Asha 201.

The Gear takes a peek at the highs and lows of this very inexpensive feature-phone which is surprisingly well suited to the emerging smartphone market.

While it’s impossible to compare the Asha 201 to Nokia’s top of the range Lumia line, it has the guts to introduce social media apps to a market which has been in dire need of Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp. Let’s see how Nokia’s Asha 201 plays out.
