10-inch BlackBerry PlayBook creeps into view
No really, why Rim? The magic of the 7-inch PlayBook is its portability, desirability and outright Audi-style sex appeal. This 10-inch bastard, leaked by this site is all sorts of wrong.
We like the look of this though:
A 4G PlayBook, and a 10-incher at that could knock the iPad 3 off the shelf. Big words, but the PlayBook is the better-looking, and faster tablet. The 7-inch PlayBook was already ahead of its time, just crippled by poor device incompatibility and a price steeper than Mount Olympus. Even if the 10-incher is just a slight upgrade on its little sister, it would be a tablet resonating with pure class.
The only hardware specs revealed (from a device tear-down) is a 7250 mAh battery, which is roughly 12+ hours of use and a SIM-card slot, presumably for the 4G services. Stare at the images, cross your fingers and look forward to its release sometime in 2013.
