South Africa’s E3, rAge ups its game from 5-7 October

For South African gamers, rAge is the real deal. A giant, “local is lekker” E3 if you will. Gearburn was fortunate enough to attend this magical, sweaty event last year, and we’ll down Redbulls to bring the action once more. Here’s what you need to know:

Outside of gaming, there’s cosplay, live eSports, a massive LAN and well, these AAA companies. For the true creatives stuck in the rote cycle of work, beer and sleep, there’s the Artists Alley. This is where the cosplay, photography and student game developers will meet to massage their creative juices. And then there’s the games. Expect the best of the best, and utter shit as well. Gaming karma they call it.
