Windows 7 users offered upgrade for $14.99
Consumers who have purchased their PCs during a promotional period are being offered a cheaper price to upgrade to Windows 8.
The offer is limited to one upgrade per PC and up to five per customer. The promotional period is between 2 June 2012 and 31 January 2013, so you still have time to get your upgrade. The cut off point to cash in on this deal is February 28, 2013.
The normal price is US$69.99 if you buy it on its own, US$39.99 if you have an existing Windows product and only US$14.99 with this promotion. Sounds like a steal.
