Nikon shoots it up with new V2 mirrorless camera
With its V1 mirrorless cameras already selling up a storm, Nikon has announced its second generation V2 mirrorless camera. Putting the V1 into a higher area of photography, the V2 will sport several new features, including a new design, new sensor, a new image processor, and several new in-camera features.
Like it’s older sibling, the V2 comes equipped with a built-in 1.4-million dot eye-level electronic viewfinder (EVF) with 100% coverage. An external hot shoe has been added to accept Speedlight flashes, and an automated two-shot high dynamic range setting has been provided. Continuous shooting is much faster at 15 fps with autofocus enabled.
A new “Slow View” enables the photographer to choose which individual frames to save from a selection of 40 full-resolution images being buffered in camera.
