iPhone 5 gets full-screen update to Xbox SmartGlass app
Microsoft’s SmartGlass app, a cross-platform Xbox 360 controller that works through a smartphone, has been updated to take full advantage of the iPhone 5’s ultra-sexy 16:9 screen format.
The older version of SmartGlass had those niggling black bars on the top and bottom of the app, at it is with most apps that aren’t optimized for this stretched display.
But that’s not all. iTunes also states that version 2.1 also contains “bug fixes”. The biggest bug we had is that app used to hang and disconnect intermittently on our iPhone 4S. Download the update from iTunes if you’re hankering for some big screen SmartGlass loving.
