Samsung reveals Wi-Fi Galaxy Camera minus the 3G
Samsung’s tipped its hat to the Wi-Fi-only crowd as it releases info on the 3G/4G-lacking Galaxy Camera. It’ll hopefully be cheaper, and retain the same Android plus camera love we’ve come to lust after. Here are the specs for those with a short memory span.
The Wi-Fi Galaxy Camera, model EK-GC110 (the 3G/4G camera is EK-GC100), has a 16.3-megapixel sensor, 21x optical zoom, the predictably lush 4.8-inch display, a 1.4Ghz quad-core CPU, Android Jellybean, 8GB internal memory with numerous MicroSD expansion options, HDMI output, full-HD video recording with a flipping cool “slow motion” mode, a 1650mAh battery and a weight of 300g. It’s a hot item, and we last saw it at the launch of Samsung’s mega-popular SIII. Hell, we even reviewed and loved it.
Here’s the link to the full press release from Uncle Sammy, but we’ve covered the best parts. Clicking is for completionists only. No release date, but as it’s Samsung, we expect it launch by the end of this quarter at the very latest.
