NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 delivers high-end graphics for only US$250
NVIDIA’s GTX 760 is the perfect GPU card for the mid-range graphics market. The performance is way above average and the price, sitting around the US$250 mark, is well worth it. As NVDIA’s keeps on rolling out its mainstream GeForce 700 series, the GTX 760 is probably the most relevant graphics card for gamers who are seeking an upgrade today.
As NVIDIA’s General Manager of its GeForce GPU unit, Scott Herkelman puts it: “Gamers seeking insanely fast performance and smooth frame rates for their favorite games, the choice is clear.”
“[The] GeForce GTX 760 ushers in a new level of performance, features and affordability, so gamers can experience today’s most graphically demanding titles with all the eye candy turned high. It’s a great time to be a PC gamer!”
Up and coming games like Call of Duty Ghosts, Watch Dogs and Battlefield 4 are all set to deliver high frame rates. “NVIDIA hails it as offering power ‘dramatically’ beyond the gaming consoles slated to hit shelves in the coming months,” according to Slashgear.
Check out some of the more technical specs:
It’s three-times faster than the GeForce GTX 275 GPU and twice as fast as the GeForce GTX 560 GPU. Some of NVIDIA’s latest technologies are also showcased like the NVIDIA PhysX physics engine, NVIDIA TXAA anti-aliasing and NVIDIA ShadowPlay software which delivers optimal playable settings.
If you were planning on overclocking or customizing the GTX 760, NVIDIA has included its GPU Boost 2.0 technology. This will increase the GPU’s clock speed for enhanced performance, while at the same time keeping temperature levels and fan controls. It also adds extra over-voltage headroom and optimizations for advanced water-cooling solutions.
So if you were keen to give your PC a graphics upgrade to get your hands on all those E3 titles, then this would probably be a good place to start.
