PS4 launches in South Africa 13 December
If you’re the kind of person who has outrageous amounts of money to blow around Christmas time, and if you happen to be in South Africa at the time, we’ve got some good news for you.
The latest edition of Sony’s mega console, the PlayStation 4 will be available in the country come 13 December.
The console was supposed to hit South African shores on 6 December, but recently appeared to hit delays.
Of the delay in that country’s availability, Mario dos Santos, Chief Executive Officer of Ster Kinekor Entertainment (the company who will be distributing the console in South Africa) said, “We have received the final global shipping timelines from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc and can confirm that our release dates are aligned with the international retail calendar.”
There are currently over 1-million pre-orders for the console worldwide and Sony hopes to unleash the PS4 in over 32 countries before the year’s end. More than 33 titles are also expected to be available this coming holiday season.
