‘Robocop’, ‘3 Days to Kill’ and ‘Jack Ryan’ most pirated films of the week

Robocop

While piracy is both illegal and frowned upon, everyone’s still at. Piracy news site TorrentFreak has released its most popular film downloads for the week ending 19 May. The surprisingly decent remake of Robocop tops the charts for a third week in a row, owing to the fact that it offers one of the most high-quality rips.

On Piratebay the top search result for Robocop reveals that over 14 000 users are “seeding” (a remote machine offering part of the data) a 1080 blu ray version of the film.

Newcomers include the Kevin Costner snooze-fest 3 Days to Kill and yet another series reboot — Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. The rest of the list is filled with genuinely fun blockbusters like The Lego Movie and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (the only “cam” film on the list). All data pulled by TorrentFreak is listed here for “informational and educational reference only” so don’t contribute to the downfall of the internet, ya hear?
