‘PlayBox 4 One’ XL boasts 24-inch screen, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in one body [video]

If you’re a seasoned YouTube surfer and you don’t know who Ed Zarick is, shame on you.

The man has been crafting truly epic devices inspired by the world of tech (and what we imagine is his own insane imagination) for quite a while now. We last reported on Ed’s previous creation, which boasted an Xbox One and a PlayStation 4 sharing the same shell, which the world thought was the end. Since then, he’s refined the design, and now, he’s selling them.

But that’s only half the story.

The first chap standing in line for one is none other than Wayne Brady of Who’s Line Is It Anyway? fame. Seriously, I can’t imagine Wayne as a gamer, but it’s an interesting prospect nevertheless.

Back to the PlayBox 4 One (as Zarick’s calling it). It boasts more ports now than the previous version, a 24-inch screen, a larger body for better heat control and thermal venting and, what is probably the coolest part, support for Netflix while your game installs.

What about the pricing, you ask? If you provide your own consoles Zarick will whip one up for a cool US$1995. It’s a magnificent piece of invention, and one that would probably scare any warranty lover to death. Even if you’re not a console gamer, or a Nintendo fan, have a look at Zarick’s new, improved PlayBox 4 One.
