BlackBerry’s Android-powered smartphone GIFs leak on Twitter
We love a good GIF, and even more so when its of BlackBerry‘s purported Android phone.
That’s right, the BlackBerry Venice has been spotted yet again, this time in video, thanks to @evleaks, or Evan Blass.
The leaker extraordinare posted twin GIFs of the phone’s button layout, sliding mechanism and camera composition, among others, which lends credence to previous leaks that this is, in fact, something BlackBerry is definitely working on.
Back at CES 2015, BlackBerry CEO John Chen did reveal a sliding phone, but the real question is: is this it?
Another pertinent query is: will it really run a version of Android instead of the stellar BlackBerry OS 10?
The second video reveals more of the device’s OS, which seems to be a version of Android Lollipop. There have been murmurs in the technology world that BlackBerry was pondering a move over to the green side, but no entity could confirm this entirely. BlackBerry has yet to confirm these whispers too.
Have a look at the tweets below, but remember, it could possibly be a hoax. But when looking at Blass’ track record, he rarely makes that mistake.
