Samsung Galaxy Note 5, A7 South African prices announced
Vodacom has announced its pricing for two of Samsung‘s flagship smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the trendier, cheaper Samsung Galaxy A7.
The former, although currently offered by online retailers like Takealot for less, will retail for R14 579 while the Galaxy A7 will fetch R7259.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is undoubtedly Samsung’s stand out product launch of 2015, featuring 32GB of internal storage, a 5.7-inch 2560×1440 screen and a 16MP rear camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 however, aims its wares at audiences looking to remain trendy but benefit from a large, lightweight device. It features a 5.5-inch screen, a 13MP rear camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC.
Vodacom has also announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy J5 — part of Samsung’s new budget lineup — which will retail for R3 709, and is available in white, black and gold.
The Galaxy Note 5 is currently available for purchase, while the A7 will be available from 15 October.
