Blizzard extends Overwatch beta as ‘thank you’ to players

Players indulging in Overwatch, Blizzard’s promising online hero shooter, can look forward to spending a little more time with the game this week.
The company has announced via Battle.net that the beta will not close today, Monday 9 May, as previously scheduled, but will be extended by a day.
This means that the beta will now shutter Tuesday 10 May at 7pm SAST. For those in the States, that’s 10am Pacific.
And in terms of Blizzard’s thoughts on the beta, it seems that it has all the information it needs before launch:
Over the last week, we’ve also had the opportunity to listen to your thoughts and opinions on the game; make improvements based on your reports in these very forums; and collect invaluable data just from you playing normally.
The game will launch officially on 24 May on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
