2019’s sure been a year. For South Africa, that means extreme highs and depressing lows, but one things for sure, the country didn’t stop…
Say what you want about Overwatch, the game is about as popular as sliced bread. But thankfully, its characters are a lot more substantial. Arguably, that’s the game’s real charm, and as a result, Blizzard has announced a brand new character that’ll make her bow soon. Her name is Ana.
Mother of current character Pharah, Ana is a support sniper, which should be fairly tough to play in the frenetic paced world of Overwatch.
“Ana’s versatile arsenal allows her to affect heroes all over the battlefield,” Blizzard claims on its blog.
“Her Biotic Rifle rounds and Biotic Grenades heal allies and damage or impair enemies; her sidearm tranquilizes key targets, and Nano Boost gives one of her comrades a considerable increase in power.”
The character also has a “sleep dart” attack, which seems like a great way to deal with McCree and his obsession with clocks.
She’s currently available to play on PC (through Overwatch‘s test channels), and should be available worldwide on consoles and PC fairly soon.
Have a look at her in action below.
