God of War gets 20 April release date, new trailer
The first trailer for the new God of War title drew a ton of positive attention, with subsequent trailers showing that Sony definitely has another potential hit in its library.
Now, Sony has confirmed that the latest title will be launching on 20 April worldwide, including South Africa.
Ster-Kinekor Entertainment has also detailed various editions ocoming to the country, starting with the “standard plus” edition for R999. A peek at the box art sees “day one edition” spread across the top — so we’ll presumably get some exclusive content or DLC here.
Then there’s the limited edition, with a R1099 recommended price tag. This comes in the form of a black and silver steelbook, packing an artbook and in-game extras too.
Spend R1999 and you get the collector’s edition, delivering a statue, cloth map and carvings — digital content makes an appearance here as well.
Along with the release date announcement comes a story trailer. 20 April can’t come soon enough.
