LG G7 family introduces two new members
LG has extended its G7 series to include two more phones, the LG G7 One, and the LG G7 Fit.
The One, as the title suggests, is the company’s first Android One smartphone “that brings together the best of the company’s smartphone experience and expertise with Google’s latest smartphone OS innovations,” the company writes.
For the record, it isn’t a lowly-specced budget device either.
It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset — also seen on the LG G6 — and a combo of 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage capacity.
The G7 Fit still features LG’s UX user interface, and uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. It has a choice of 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, with 4GB of RAM.
The two phones share a slew of hardware specifications:
- IP68 dust and water resistance
- Notched 6.1 inch 3120×1440 LCD display
- LTE support
- USB-C port
- Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0
- 16MP rear camera (the One has an aperture of f/1.6, while the Fit is stuck at f/2.2)
- 8MP front camera, f/1.9 with an 80° lens
Both phones will be showcased at Berlin’s IFA 2018 expo this week, while pricing and local availability will be set at a later date.
