The Canon EOS 250D DSLR is the ‘world’s lightest camera with a movable screen’
Canon released yet another camera on Wednesday, this time in the form of the new EOS 250D DSLR.
The device succeeds the EOS 200D and boasts the title of “world’s lightest camera with a movable screen”.
“For a family looking to step-up from smartphone photography or upgrade from their existing camera, the EOS 250D is a fun and easy to use DSLR, packed with the latest technology,” Canon said in a press release.
The 24.1MP camera includes an optical viewfinder, movable touchscreen as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
It also features Dual Pixel CMOS AF and Canon’s latest DIGIC 8 processor, along with 4K video recording capabilities.
As the EOS 250D is marketed towards beginners, the interchangeable lens camera also sports a guided user interface for easy learning.
The device will be available in South Africa this May, but there’s currently no pricing information at present.
