Looking for an ultrapremium ultraportable laptop for 2020? HP this week announced its latest Spectre x360 13 complete with a new specs list.

Now weighing 1.27 kilograms, the Spectre x360 13 features a 13-inch 4K OLED display, mounted in an aluminium shell.

Users can look forward to Intel 10th generation chipsets, up to 22 hours of battery life, WiFi 6 and Gigabit LTE support, and an IR camera that scans your face to improve Windows Hello logins and authentication.

HP’s also packing in its privacy screen, a hardware key to switch the microphone off or one, and a Webcam Kill Switch to, well, stop programs from using the webcam.

The laptop is heading to South Africa in December, and will be offered in two guises:

  • Nightfall Black: 16GB of RAM, 4K OLED display, 1TB SSD with 32 GB Optane — R39 999.
  • Natural Silver: 8 GB of RAM, FHD display, 512 GB SSD with 32 GB Optane — R29 999.
