Google Stadia support expanding to Samsung, ASUS and Razer phones
Google on Tuesday announced that it will expand the availability of its cloud-based gaming service Stadia to more smartphones later this week.
“In addition to the Pixel family, Stadia will now support phones from Samsung, ASUS, and Razer,” the company said on its website.
Specifically, Stadia will be playable on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and later, Razer Phone, Razer Phone 2 and both ASUS ROG and ASUS ROG 2 as well.
Google launched Stadia last November in the United States, Canada, the UK and several European countries.
While the company is yet to expand Stadia’s availability in more parts of the world, however, additional smartphone support for the platform will roll out on 20 February.
